The B-Side of My Mind

I attended my 10th year high school reunion last week and i had so much fun meeting up with all my ex-classmates and ex-schoolmates at Putera. After 10 year, guess what? we all look the same hahaha! i really was hoping to see them looking old, or have matured but all of us were still the same. Our characters, our behaviors were still the same! the only difference was we were more advanced in terms of style, some had beer bellys, some carrying babies.. :) most of them were married already. Tomorrow (22nd Feb) is the day of the karaoke singing competition. Last nite i went to Hunter's (the venue) to submit my application form with a friend of mine, who happens to be joining the competition too. The workers there told us we can try our songs there that nite, so we did. My friend went first. OMG! she has improved alot since the last time we practiced together! I know i should be rooting for her (and i am!) but it's hard to do so if you're also fighting for the same title. At dinner, i kept on thinking and thinking how am i gonna beat her? she is singing Jaclyn Victor's victory song, "Gemilang" and i have to tell you, my friend sang it like it was her own victory song. Happy Valentine's Day AND Happy Chinese New Year to all of you!! Yesterday I sang at my friend's wedding. Guess what? the music didnt want to co-operate with me! it decided to go bonkers on me at the church :( i was kind of sad it turned out like that but at the wedding reception, alot of people came up to me, thanking me and telling me how they liked my song even though the music went crazy. yeheayy!! :) I didnt stay long at the reception because i suddenly had a case of tummy ache and wanted to go to the toilet badly.
