Me and my siblings would borrow 3-5 books each to bring home and the house would be eerily silent at most time during the holidays because all of us will be in our rooms, busying ourselves with the books that we got from the library. Since Valentine's Day is coming up, i've been thinking yesterday morning during breakfast (my breakfast lasted an hour as a result of much thinking) and i realize, this is the first time in years where i don't have any boyfriend or crushes to look forward to being brought out, get presents.. the works. And you know what? i dont feel left out or anything, infact i never felt better. Maybe im just out of love? could be. At this moment, i dont have any crushes towards anyone. Im not changing preference, im still attracted to guys very much. i l ove guys. I just am not attracted to any guy at the moment. Ok, there may be times when i feel lonely but I don't want my life to be defined by a man. I want to stand on my two feet. Im not trying to deliver the message that i don't need a man in my life coz I do need a man but i dont want to depend everything on him. If you ask me how's life as a lecturer? hmm, i'll answer TIRING! i dont know about other lecturers but for me, having to study all those stuff that you've learned in your diploma days (the stuff that ive learned about 4-5 years back) is hard! I hardly have time for TV these days..except for Amazing Race Asia every thursday :-D Maybe other lecturers are used to this and they probably have memorized their textbooks by heart hehehe.. me? haiya, sometimes i feel like a schoolgirl who's sitting for her SPM examination tomorrow..mau belaaaaaaaajar saja! Wonder what subjects im teaching? Im teaching two subjects this semester, Finance and Business Law.. The two subjects that i am so close to hating. I can't hate them because im teaching them.. i have no choice but to like them. It's been a while since i posted anything on this blog. It's not that im lazy, its just that i was busy with the amendments for my thesis that needs to be done fast PLUS my internet connection at home sucks! God only knows when my connection will be back to normal *sigh* ..but in a way, its a good thing i have no internet connection. whats the good thing, u ask? i get to sleep early these days. That is, if i dont have any work to do lah. when i say early, i mean EAAARRRRLYYY.. like, 10.30pm. when i had internet at home, i usually havent bathed yet at that time. Anyways, i cant wait for monday to come. that means, everything i worked for this semester is coming to an end. FINALLY! i am also counting down the days to my vacation.. MANILA!!! august come quickly! talking about august, that month is going to be one super-busy-yet-fun month. ive got campings, and outings.. etc. I'll blog all about it here later :-D

2007 is ending and what a ride it was. It has been a great year for me, although there were some 'bumps' along the way.. so here's the good, the bad and my resolutions for 2k8. The Good 1. Finally finished aaaaalllll my subjects for my masters degree. so, meaning no more exams for me...yayyyy. 2. My car finally got a new coat of color and a new set of seats 3. Travelled to Macau, Guangzhou & Philippines 4. Went sky jumping in Macau 5. Met the band 'Tribe of Levi' in manila. Neither things can last for a lifetime. Everything in this world at some point will come to an end. And that's a certainty we don't have control with. People come and go, things worn out, plans change, feelings subside, relationship ends, everyone of us get tired. There's no guarantee. And no matter how hard we try to hold on to something, a time will come that it'll slip into our hands or we'll choose to let go. Sometimes so sudden we won't notice it. And realize it, only when it's gone. I used to believe in the saying "I'll stick with you no matter what.", but then it proved to be nothing but a lie. People, over time find better things, better opportunities, better people. We discover new things along the way, change preference, win some and lose some. The things that we once can't live without will be left behind and be ancient history. Sad eh?
