The B-Side of My Mind

Yesterday was rather an interesting day for me. I was called downstairs to the reception area because someone wants to meet me. I was puzzled. Who on earth wants to meet me? at 4.00pm? So i went down and a lady was waiting for me and handed me a paperbag that has chocolates and perfume. Not just any perfume, it was Luscious Pink by Mariah Carey!! OMG! I have been looking (and wanting) that perfume! The lady said it was from a friend of mine, MK. MK, if you're reading this thank very very very much. :) Because i was kind of hungry that time, the chocolates were gone in less than 30 minutes hahaha. My Luscious Pink ;) And it's EDP (Eu de Parfum) Mariah's signature butterfly mark. I love my new scent. It's 2.33pm and i just came back from the movies :-D yes, i spent my lunch break at the movies watching.. *drum roll* ECLIPSE!!! wooot wooott!! After the last installment of Twilight, i didnt think the next one would be nice that is why when Eclipse came out the same week as Despicable Me , I opted to watch the latter. OMG..OMG..OMFG!!! I HEART ECLIPSE! Let's not talk about New Moon because for me, it was a disaster. pffffttt!! I can't wait for the next installment of the Twilight Saga - BREAKING DAWN ! I think i know why i fell in love with Eclipse and not with New Moon . It's because i read New Moon before the movie and i know every part by detail (just like in the book) but when the movie came out, it didnt reach my expectations. So this time around, i didnt even bother finishing the Eclipse book. I only read half of it because i didnt want to get dissapointed again. I've got all four books laying neatly on my bookshelf but i dont think i'll be reading them...

Ever since i became one chunky-butt again, i vowed to myself i am going to lose it by august. I am doing this not to torchure myself, but because i want to feel and look good again. See, my clothes don't fit me right anymore. I mean, i can fit my clothes but they're a bit too tight now. So i am taking the first step: admitting to myself (and to the whole world) that i'm a chunky-butt. I actually started my 'journey' of losing the pounds last week but i only managed to work out one time. This week, i have managed to work out three times already (out of four days) and i am sooooo proud of myself! If you're thinking i work out at the gym, you thought wrong. I work out at home. Yes. At home. What type of work out you may ask? I do Body Combat. What is body combat? The picture above was taken by my 5-year old niece, Kimberly while we were at Kapa, Tamparuli this morning for church. Just today i have more than 30 shots of myself. Thanks to my little niece but most of them were blurred. I only took the best ones and jumbled them up in one picture. I'm going to Tamparuli again tomorrow morning with my friends.. mandi sungaiii!! Last week i went to Kibunut, Zoo and PC fair. All in one sunday. I know i havent made any post on that.. coming soon!! :) This month is so exciting, there's always a getaway at the end of everyweek! ..and i am one of it's participant :D After joining the KK City Run last month, i was determined to join the next marathon which is the Borneo International Marathon happening next month! I registered myself under the womens open 10km category yesterday evening. I have like, a month for training and at the end of this month i need to get myself a good new pair of running shoes. My old one has worn out. Some friends of mine suggest me to join the half marathon (21km) . I was like, "whhaaatt? are you kidding me?" hahahaa.. The first marathon i joined was 4km long so let me just take this marathon thing slowly. Who knows i'll be joining the full marathon next year? hahaha.. Just for your information the full marathon is 42km long (!!!) . Can you tell that im uber excited for this marathon? ♥ P.

Hey there! It's been awhile since i've blogged about anything. I havent abandoned this blog yet (i dont think i will) it's just that ive been so busy with things. ive got a big exam coming up this saturday, a new "project" due this month (will go into that once it's ready for viewing) and well, this thursday (6th Aug) is the college's Prom Nite. The theme of this year's prom is : "FOREVER IN THE TWILIGHT" dont ask me what it means. I have NO idea hahah! but i'll be one of the performers and im quite excited on that :) Just thinking of my "project" makes me excited. This month's gonna be interesting.. AND exciting, of course! ♥ P.
