I have purchased this book online 2 weeks ago, since then I have been anticipating to start reading this book. I first heard about this from facebook where my cousin posted a clip from youtube about DeVon telling Oprah about the Sabbath. At first I wasn't interested to watch the clip but after a week or so, I somehow learned that DeVon was the Vice President of Columbia Pictures in Hollywood and he's an Adventist? That made me go back to the clip that was posted by my cousin and I watched it til the end. That wasn't enough and so I researched about the book. After reading excerpts of it and feedbacks from people on the internet I decided that I am going to get that book. 

If you're wondering what the book is all about, it is about:
  • How to discover The Big Idea for your life
  • How to take your career to the next level 
  • How to recognize the signs God sends you that indicate when it’s time to move in a new direction
  • How to stand firm on your Christian principles without compromise
  • How to work with people who don’t understand your beliefs
  • How to choose a profession, industry, or company that is in tune with your purpose as a Christian
I think this book will be helpful in my life. I didn't even care if it's gonna cost me like, RM100. But thank God it only cost me RM72 (this includes shipment!). It's so rare to hear someone who is an Adventist, keeps the Sabbath (in Hollywood!) and yet still is successfull.

Holy?

It was a heated discussion that we had on facebook on religious issues. No, it wasn't between Christian and another religion but it was between Christian denominations. It all started by this boy, who at the end got a taste of his own medicine. As an Adventist, i respect other religion and also other Christian denominations. I don't go here and there proclaiming that i am in the right path and tell everyone to be an Adventist just because i believe i am in the right religion. Everyone, no matter in what Christian denomination they are, be it Catholic or protestants and also other religions (Muslims, Hindu, Buddhist) they all believe they are the right religion in the world but that doesnt give you the right to go condemning other people's belief. Kuching getaway (Day 1)

I have been wanting to get away from the hectic work life and studies since may. So this is it. A domestic getaway to Kuching, Sarawak :) Our flight to Kuching was at 8am on AirAsia. We arrived early, at about 9:15am. 10 minutes early. The first thing we did was went to the hotel to confirm our reservation of room & have breakfast. We were really hungry by the time we reached the hotel. The area that we are staying didnt have that much of eateries nearby. The hotel's frontdesk lady said we have to walk 10-20 minutes to the nearest eatery. We were searching for Laksa, by the way.  After walking not 10, or 20.. But 30 minutes!!!! We found an eatery at Chinatown. It was a small coffee shop (i forgot the name) but it served kolo mee and sarawak laksa. So we had our breakfast there. After that we walked somemore and went to sarawak plaza, tun jugah and centrepoint. I was surprised that the malls here are not like the ones we have in KK. I could walk around each malls in less than 5
