BIM2011

Image
Hello! It has been a very long while since i posted anything here. The reason of my absent was: lazy, busy, lazy, lazy, busy hehehe. My laziness was caused by my busy-ness. I go to the gym 3-4 times a week and everytime i say i'm going to blog after gym it will not happen because i get so tired and thus lazy. But since now i have some liiiiiittttlllllee extra time (more than half of the class was absent so i dismissed my students early) to kill so here i am blogging! This year i joined the BIM (Borneo International Marathon) again and i participated in the same category again : 10km. But this time, my time improved than last year's run. I don't know why, but i am kind of addicted to running now. I have even joined a group of runners on Facebook thanks to my friend, Danne :D This sunday will be my first time running with the group. Although i don't think i am going to run 21km with them. I'm going to go slow. I'll just do the 10km run. My official time for th...

My Christmas Gift

Image
I was thinking of what to get myself for Christmas this year and i was thinking maybe something gadgety, say like a phone? :) Since Blackberry has come out with it's new Blackberry Bold 9780 i was thinking of getting one and join the Blackberry wagon! It was actually between iPhone and Blackberry but since most of my friends are using Blackberry, it would be more convenient to get one. We could BBM all day hehe. Somemore, i don't really fancy touchscreens. I've tried touchscreen with my sonyericsson and what i realize is, i am more of a qwerty handset person. I am using Nokia E63 and it serves me well but that's just it - Twitter and Facebook is not at the tip of my fingers. I mean, the applications are there (downloaded!) but still, the feeling's not the same. So i'm gonna get it.

Craving For Cakes

Image
I have been exercising (everyday since monday night) and taken extra care of what i eat and now i am craving for these. Those who know me well know i have a soft spot for cakes. I know i can go out and buy a slice (or two) of devil's food but i'm restraining myself from doing so. My friends have even given me chocolates but i kept it away in my "chocolatebox" that i have on my table. I won't be looking at those stuff until i lose some weight! Yes. That's how determined i am :)

Biggest Loser Challenge

Image
The office where i work at came up with a challenge : The Biggest Loser challenge and i am one of them people who joined. I was so shocked when i was weighed in on tuesday. I am 63kg!! oh my cow! just two months ago i was 56kg. *sigh* I have this as a daily reminder to motivate myself to not give into the temptation of junk food and to exercise. 4 times a week at least. I have been exercising every evening for 2 hours since sunday. However, last night was my night off. My body needs rest. This morning, before going to work i exercise for 45 minutes. It feel so good to sweat. I am so determined to win the challenge and most importantly get myself back into shape. I can hardly fit my clothes properly now. *sigh* For lunch, i had papaya and drank a bottle of soy and whey protein isolate drink blend. My brother is buying dinner for the whole family tonight so i decided to eat a little lighter than usual today. I must however remind myself to not eat rice tonight hehe. Or it will ruin the...

The Journey Getting There.

Image
Ever since i became one chunky-butt again, i vowed to myself i am going to lose it by august. I am doing this not to torchure myself, but because i want to feel and look good again. See, my clothes don't fit me right anymore. I mean, i can fit my clothes but they're a bit too tight now. So i am taking the first step: admitting to myself (and to the whole world) that i'm a chunky-butt. I actually started my 'journey' of losing the pounds last week but i only managed to work out one time. This week, i have managed to work out three times already (out of four days) and i am sooooo proud of myself! If you're thinking i work out at the gym, you thought wrong. I work out at home. Yes. At home. What type of work out you may ask? I do Body Combat. What is body combat? Body combat is a work out inspired by martial arts and draws from an array of karate, boxing, kickboxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai. Expect lots and lots of sweat! What are the benefit of Body C...
