I just saw this movie last saturday with MJK. My admiration towards Ryan Reynolds work as an actor is up to a whole new level. His performance was awesome. But what i didnt get was, why on earth did a happy song came up when the movie ended? it wasn't a happy ending. LOL!

Eclipse, And The Dilemma Of Inception.

Image
It's 2.33pm and i just came back from the movies :-D yes, i spent my lunch break at the movies watching.. *drum roll* ECLIPSE!!! wooot wooott!! After the last installment of Twilight, i didnt think the next one would be nice that is why when Eclipse came out the same week as Despicable Me , I opted to watch the latter. OMG..OMG..OMFG!!! I HEART ECLIPSE! Let's not talk about New Moon because for me, it was a disaster. pffffttt!! I can't wait for the next installment of the Twilight Saga - BREAKING DAWN ! I think i know why i fell in love with Eclipse and not with New Moon . It's because i read New Moon before the movie and i know every part by detail (just like in the book) but when the movie came out, it didnt reach my expectations. So this time around, i didnt even bother finishing the Eclipse book. I only read half of it because i didnt want to get dissapointed again. I've got all four books laying neatly on my bookshelf but i dont think i'll be reading them...

The Lovely Bones.

Image
I watche this movie last night, the story is about a 14 year old girl who was murdered by her neighbour. The murdered girl tells the story in the movie, showing the lives of the people around her (family) how they all have changed while attempting to get someone to find her body. What i didnt like was the ending part - her body never got found and her murderer got away. It is a Peter Jackson movie, so it has to be good :) The novel sure goes into the list of books to buy. I still have a few pending books haha.. one of them is "My Sister's Keeper". I love the movie, i cried a bucket watching it. Later im gonna watch "Fireproof" a movie recommended by my cousin, who watched it 10 times already and cried everytime. It's a beautiful sunday.. the sun is up, bright and shining - that'll dry my clothes fast :D It's close to 9am.. time for laundry! ta-ta! Have a nice Sunday everyone! ♥ P.

I Love AVATAR!

It's now 4.15am and an I just came back from the cinema an hour ago watching the recent #1 box office movie AVATAR . I should be sleeping right now but my excitement over the movie still havent gone away :) Me and my cousins were suppose to catch the 9pm show at GSC 1Borneo but when we were about to buy our tickets, the ticker counter lady told us the hall was full already so our options were to watch the 12am show OR watch the movie another day. Hm. Since we were already there at the mall it was such a waste of gas to drive ourselves back home, empty handed. So i said "let's just watch the 12am show lah!" and it was alllll worth it! I had doubts on whether i could stay up all through the movie but guess what? i didnt even break a yawn hahahaha. Now, that's a first! Of all the midnite movies i have watched, i usually slept in the middle of the movie and only wake up when the movie is nearing the end. I even slept watching the latest Harry Potter movie hahaha. I k...

There's lots to be found at the official website.. all in all i give the movie an 8 out of 10. Food Talk.

Image
I meant to post this earlier, but as usual procrastination got the best of me. Last saturday, me and my cousins went to GSC 1Borneo to watch City of Ember at 11.30pm. We got there early, at around 10.15pm. So we circled around 1Borneo in search of food. Since it was late, every shop was starting to close down. When we stopped at California Grill, the first thing we asked was "mau tutup suda ka?" hahaha.. when they said no, we straight away went inside and this was what we ordered: Lemon tea for the three of us Ceaser salad Seafood pizza I enjoyed the food there, and i must say the price wasn't as expensive as i thought it would be..Ceaser Salad was RM10.90 and Pizza (regular) was RM19 After having supper, we went up to GSC and watched our movie. After movie, i was suppose to meet some friends at KK but when i texted them, they were already home and said that i was late hahaha. I told them i'll join them next time.. tomorrow never dies right? :) ♥ P.

Make silly faces ok, now mikikiut We cousins, are people who arent afraid to look silly..haha. We look so silly! thats because we've got nothing better to do, these were taken after dinner at Davelynne's house, thursday last week for the dinner get-together with family & friends from church with Pastor John Harvoth. Oh, and i MUST say that the back massage that Pastor John gave me was SUPER nice! since his hands were big & strong hehe..i dont know about the other people who had their massages, but i seriously consider his hands as MAGIC HANDS ;-P Then after that me and a bunch of my cuzzies went to 1Borneo to catch a movie. Our outing wasnt really planned, so i didnt even bring any money & had to loan from my cousin hehehe. We were at first torn between Get Smart and Wanted . In the end, 5 of us watched Get Smart and 1 (my cuzzie's hubby) watched Wanted. OMG my tummy hurt so bad from all the laughing. Get Smart was SO hilarious! at first, i thought it was a stu...

Scary Pilaks

Image
After submitting our researches at the Uni today, me and Angel went to 1Borneo for some free movies(if you havent heard yet, gsc 1borneo is showing free movies until the 4th of June). OMG! the place was infested with pilaks! i was clutching on my big red bag all the time i was there. I know its not good to judge people from their appearance or from whatever race or culture they are from.. but the looks on the pilaks face and the way they behave was so scary!! Eeee.. Lets just hope 1Borneo wont become like Centre Point.. Ok, so we went to watch CJ7 and Jumper. While waiting for the 2nd movie to begin, we met Ramesh, Roger and their guy friend (im sorry but i dont know whats his name.. they didnt introduce him to us, kasian haha) who were waiting for their friend. After the movie i met Yazrin, and it turns out that he was the guy who they were waiting on. Eeeee I cant believe he forgot my name! :( i tersinggung 10 tahun Nasip he remember my face lah ! hahaha. We parted ways after a whil...

Boys Don't Cry

Image
Ive recently watched the movie "Boys don't cry" which stars Hilary Swank. This is the movie which earned her an oscar for Best Actress in 99'. After watching the movie, it was surreal to think that this really had happened to someone in the past. Hilary Swank's performance in this movie was outstanding. She so deserves the golden globe and oscar that she won way back. When the movie ended, I came away from the movie realizing the courage you have to possess to be different, the dangers from it are real and we must admire those brave enough among us to be. This movie made me think about the sexual differences and what it means to have a sex change (or want one) or being trapped in a gender you dont want. Here's a plot summary i got from imdb.com : Based on actual events. Brandon Teena is the popular new guy in a tiny Nebraska town. He hangs out with the guys, drinking, cussing, and bumper surfing, and he charms the young women, who've never met a more se...

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Image
Sweeney Todd is coming out very soon. I am soooo excited! Johnny Depp is one of my favourite actors in Hollywood i would love to see him in a musical. If you're wondering who else is in the movie, well.. Helene Bonham Carter is in, Alan Rickman and Timothy Spall (Harry Potter), and Sacha Baron (Borat). Its a star casted movie.. now, who wants to miss this movie? dont count me in. I'll be first in line to buy tickets when the movie reaches Malaysia (hurry up laahh!!) Here's a movie review i got from About.com : " Barber Benjamin Barker (Johnny Depp) has his life – and beautiful wife and child – ripped away by the corrupt, power-crazed Judge Turpin (Alan Rickman). Sentenced to prison for a crime he didn’t commit, Barker has only the memories of his family and the image of Judge Turpin to keep him company as he whiles away time in jail. 15 years after Turpin tears apart his world, Barker leaves prison and returns to London, his mind consumed with thoughts of revenge. Little thing called Love

Image
I watched The Lake House just now and it made me remember just how much i love the movie. I was strangely quite through out the movie..I was concentrating on the characters, the actors (oooh, keanu reeves *drooollls*) basically the whole movie coz i didnt really concentrate when i saw it the 1st time and end up a little bit confused. During movies i usually will be the noisy one where people likes telling to shut up hehe. *siiiiigggghhhhhh* the movie is sooo romantic!! When it ended, It made me want to have a boyfriend right there and now mwahahaha. The movie made me think. See, ive always said to people that its not that i enjoy being all by myself, its just that the right person havent come crossing my way yet, so i wait... and it finally hit me just now. Like a brick falling down on my head : What if there isn't such thing as the right one ? What if ive thrown away precious time waiting for some fairytale-make-believe-happy-ending where my knight and shining armor finally come...

Who are you?

Image
Ive been indulging myself with CSI's. I have the complete season of CSI Las Vegas, Miami & New York..woohoo! I now memorize CSI Las vegas' theme song, the "who are you-u..u-u" hahaha. I like Las vegas a mile far than the other two installments. To know more about CSI LV, click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CSI:_Crime_Scene_Investigation and it'll tell you about all the characters played by each one of them. I like Grissom's character the most. He is so pintar! Grissom is played by William Peterson. When i saw episode one of Season 1, i was like "Ohh.. so that is how everything started!" I like watching CSI coz it makes the brain to think, it doesnt remain stagnant. Talk about being brain-stagnant, i dread going to Advance Statistics classes every week. I dont learn a thing! its not that i dont pay attention to what the lecturer is talking in front, its just so damn hard, with all the formulas..i think theres like 5 formulas being shown every 2 se...
