The B-Side of My Mind

Last year in December me and my singing group including a choir group from Tamparuli went to Gayana Island and Bunga Raya Resort for some carolling (talk about killing two birds with 1 stone!). It was a great experience going on that trip with friends. Especially when a friend of mine who just came back from Japan came along on that trip. Valentino, my friend who just came back from Japan at the back. We were just about to leave the jetty. The choir singing together on a few Christmas songs. Haha.. like PTI's :-P Valentino and I.. Although the weather was bad that night, I still think it was an enjoyable moment because it was spent with friends. Somemore, it was my first time carolling at islands, infront of tourists!

It's been very busy for us at work. Lots of things were happening.. hence, the lack of updates. We had the MQA thingy going on with our department, sending practical students to their respective places of practical (me, at Labuan) and then we had the MASISWA annual sports meet. But after all that... It's time to party!! What a relief it felt after everything has passed. Here are some of the pictures of the passed weeks. Last weekend, i was in KL for the company's annual dinner. The theme was GALACTICA NITE. Alot of people dressed up according to the theme but there were alot of people who also dressed up not according to the theme, including me! :D We arrived on friday and to be honest it was quite a rush. We reached our hotel at about 4pm and had to leave before 5pm (OMG!!) I planned to maybe get cleaned up first before dress and make-up but there was no time to waste. So as soon me and my roommates reached the room we laid everything out - makeup, dress, shoes. But we managed to get out of the room in less than 45minutes. AMAZING! I love spending time at home during the weekends. I prefer just staying at home and not have to go anywhere, especially to the city. I go to work in the city 5 days a week so it is nice to just stay at home for a change. This particular weekend, after doing laundry i took a stroll around the house. I started at the backyard and ended infront of the house at the garage. Guess what i found along the way? Pumpkin! there were two waiting to be picked :) I walked further and i saw a bunch of other things that i havent noticed up til now.. Manggis. Will be ripe in.. say, next month? This one's common. mana2 pun ada..but i always like this. they're cute.. Rambutans (not ripe yet) I also found 2 pettula.. there's more but they're still young.. Not quite ready yet. I meant to post this yesterday but i had other things to do so this post had to be delayed. Anyways, me and my colleagues were at Asia City for lunch and on the way back to the office we saw rabbits! not just one or two rabbits.. but many rabbits for sale! Honestly i wanted to take one home but my dad's word "you don't bring another animal back home" (i always offer to take animals home ba.. thats why la he keeps on telling me that) keeps on playing in my head like a broken record. So i didnt buy one boo-hoo. Ive had rabbits at home before but the numbers keep on adding and we ended up giving the rabbits to people. Just imagine, from just 2 rabbits it multiplied itself into 14 or 15 in less than a year! Nda pa la.. even if im not allowed to take animals home atleast i am still able to touch them heheh. Last sunday, my brother, cousin and i went to 1Borneo to watch Coming Soon . During the movie, my brother asked if we want to watch another movie, Angels and Demons after Coming Soon . Since we didnt have anything better to do if we go home, we just said OKAY . Coming Soon ended at 1.40pm and the next movie starts at 2.50. We had an hour of free time so we roam aimlessly at 1Borneo. We went to China Town. Ive been there like, a thousand times. The "Oooohh" and "Waaahh " effects have long expired. Today is the grand opening of F.O.S (Factory Outlest Store) at Centre Point, KK. Nancy told me about the free goodie bag that they are giving away to the first 1, 000 customers who walks in the shop. Me and Nancy went with our coupons just now and i did a little bit of shopping :) I was feeling down this morning (mad, sad, angry & confused to be exact) and retail therapy helped raise my spirit up a little bit :) (works everytime) I didnt bring my camera to work today so i had to use my phone camera. The new F.O.S outlet at the 3rd floor (Wiser's old place). It is claimed that this outlet is the biggest one in Malaysia. Really? There were lots of people there and this is only the ladies department ;-) I'm attracted to shirts with words (some call it, "Talking Shirts ") ive got a few at home and im still collecting!
