The Perfect Song.

One of my childhood friends are getting married next week, on Valentines Day (and Chinese New Year). I was being told on saturday that my slot will be during the signing of their marriage certificate. I have planned to sing "Forevermore" by Side A. But all that changed when a friend of mine suggested me to check out this one song by Lea Salonga, "Two Words". So i did and i fell in love with the song that instant. According to my friend, Lea Salonga sang it during her own wedding. Wow...

Everytime i hear this song, it makes me want to sing this song on my own wedding (God only knows when that will be LOL)

I just texted the title of the song to the bride-to-be and it's confirmed. Im gonna sing it next sunday.I hope people will be touched and moved by the song as i am :) It's nice to touch people through the songs that you sing even if they are not originally yours. A student of mine told me last week after i posted new videos on facebook not to stop singing because through the songs, people can relate themselves to it. That is one of the first thing that i do when picking songs: whether it can relate to me or not.
It is much easier to put your soul and emotion into the song when you can relate and feel the song.

Click here for the clip of the song, where Lea Salonga sang the song during her wedding. I was almost moved to tears :]
