Birthday..Burpday..Buttday

As some of you already know, my birthday fell on the 14th of January. A BIG thank you goes out to those who wished me a HAPPY BIRTHDAY, be it sms, comments on my friendster and facebook accounts, calls (near and far), emails and through ym. I didnt went out and celebrate like the previous years, instead i stayed home and had a quiet dinner with my family.

Ok, so what did i cook? well, after much thinking of what to cook..i end up making spagetti with jumbo meatballs, and chicken salad. Dad came home with fried chicken and pizza. For desert, we had supermoist choc cake, which mom baked the day before.

Happy 26th to me..

Elsa insisted on having her birthday too.. so we took 6 candles out of the cake and left just 2 for her.. But i blew it too coz she doesnt know how to blow hahaha.

I didnt make the filipino leche flan :-( because i found out that my condensed milk was already being used and it was too late to go out and buy another one. Maybe i'll try it sometime in this week. Will blog about how it turns out later.

Oh by the way, my ym is so gila-gila now. i couldnt log in. Its been that way all night last night. Havent tried today.. will try later after breakfast. Im hungry..

It was a heated discussion that we had on facebook on religious issues. No, it wasn't between Christian and another religion but it was between Christian denominations. CrossingBorders

Introducing... CROSSINGBORDERS!!! :D For those who dont know, CrossingBorders consist of me, a Malaysian and a very good friend of mine, Bob who comes from the Philippines.. hence, the name CrossingBorders suit us very well :) These videos were taken during practice session at Bob's place yesterday when we decided to fool around with the camera hehehe.. our schedule is gonna be so pack starting 29th of this month. Kuching getaway (Day 1)

I have been wanting to get away from the hectic work life and studies since may. So this is it. A domestic getaway to Kuching, Sarawak :) Our flight to Kuching was at 8am on AirAsia. We arrived early, at about 9:15am. 10 minutes early. The first thing we did was went to the hotel to confirm our reservation of room & have breakfast. We were really hungry by the time we reached the hotel. The area that we are staying didnt have that much of eateries nearby. The hotel's frontdesk lady said we have to walk 10-20 minutes to the nearest eatery. We were searching for Laksa, by the way.  After walking not 10, or 20.. But 30 minutes!!!! We found an eatery at Chinatown. It was a small coffee shop (i forgot the name) but it served kolo mee and sarawak laksa. So we had our breakfast there. After that we walked somemore and went to sarawak plaza, tun jugah and centrepoint. I was surprised that the malls here are not like the ones we have in KK. I could walk around each malls in less than 5 ...
