The Nature Girl

Today i woke up with no electricity... eeeee. I hate it when this kind of thing happens. especially early in the morning. Ok, maybe it wasnt early in the morning, coz the time was showing 9am when i woke up ;-P I reached for my celly and texted my friend, who was working at SESB (Sabah Electricity Sendirian Berhad) to ask how long the electricity be down. After a minute or so, he texted me back saying it will be down for not more than 3 hours. Pheww, thank God it wasnt going to be until 5pm.


So I dragged myself out of bed, brush my teeth and wash my face. I went to the kitchen to see whats for breakfast but I wasn't feeling hungry yet, so i decided to take a stroll at the backyard.. It was so sunny! i like..

A pineapple! in my backyard! but it's not ripe yet..will check on it in a few days. Hopefully Mr. Squirrel wont go and make any territory marks on it by then.

Im kind of glad that there wasnt any electricity in the morning.. if there was i wouldnt even know the existence of the pineapple at the backyard and the wild flowers growing there. Plus, it was such a beautiful morning and im glad i went outside to appreciate nature. I should do this more often!

After spending 30minutes or so outside, I now am ready to have my breakfast. Feeling extra healthy today i decided to have fruit salad for breakfast.
I mixed papaya, plums, grapes and apple all together..and presto, you got yourself a fruit salad. :-D

It was a heated discussion that we had on facebook on religious issues. No, it wasn't between Christian and another religion but it was between Christian denominations. Kuching getaway (Day 1)

I have been wanting to get away from the hectic work life and studies since may. So this is it. A domestic getaway to Kuching, Sarawak :) Our flight to Kuching was at 8am on AirAsia. We arrived early, at about 9:15am. 10 minutes early. The first thing we did was went to the hotel to confirm our reservation of room & have breakfast. We were really hungry by the time we reached the hotel. The area that we are staying didnt have that much of eateries nearby. The hotel's frontdesk lady said we have to walk 10-20 minutes to the nearest eatery. We were searching for Laksa, by the way.  After walking not 10, or 20.. But 30 minutes!!!! We found an eatery at Chinatown. It was a small coffee shop (i forgot the name) but it served kolo mee and sarawak laksa. So we had our breakfast there. After that we walked somemore and went to sarawak plaza, tun jugah and centrepoint. I was surprised that the malls here are not like the ones we have in KK. CrossingBorders

Introducing... CROSSINGBORDERS!!! :D For those who dont know, CrossingBorders consist of me, a Malaysian and a very good friend of mine, Bob who comes from the Philippines.. hence, the name CrossingBorders suit us very well :) These videos were taken during practice session at Bob's place yesterday when we decided to fool around with the camera hehehe.. our schedule is gonna be so pack starting 29th of this month.
