The B-Side of My Mind

So i promised to make a post on the camping trip that i had a couple of weeks earlier. I went camping with 96 students of mine at Kawang. The camping trip was actually an activity of one of their subject (not my subject) and i decided to tagg along because i wouldnt want to be idling at the office for 3 days. Okay, so we head up to Kawang on the 11th of March at 10am. The journey took us about 1 hour to reach there. It wasn't that far actually but we had to drive slow.. safety first bah, lagipun banyak ni anak urang yang mau dijaga hehe. Why 8? because i didnt really like the part where the whisperers turned out to be some sort of alien form. *sigh* I guess thats all for this post. Yes, there is now an Arabic fast food in KK called "Alladin". My bestie told me a week or so ago about this but only last sunday when i was at 1Borneo ( again) for a movie with my brother (we watched Watchmen) i saw this stall when we were about to make our way to the exit. I got all excited because i dont get to eat shawarma everyday.. and the closest shawarma is in the Philippines. I ordered one chicken shawarma and out of my excitement.. ..i got dissapointed. The shawarma wasn't the shawarma i expected it to be! :( I mean. in terms of how it taste. It looks like your regular shawarma but it taste awful. I felt like i was eating a chicken burger in the form of a shawarma!..The pita was too thick and i had a hard time chewing it. I did not like it at all. I wanted to fly to the Philippines that instant just for a shawarma. Alladin Arabic Fast Food.. thats the first and last time for KK middle eastern food for me The menu. I meant to post this earlier, but as usual procrastination got the best of me. Last saturday, me and my cousins went to GSC 1Borneo to watch City of Ember at 11.30pm. We got there early, at around 10.15pm. So we circled around 1Borneo in search of food. Since it was late, every shop was starting to close down. When we stopped at California Grill, the first thing we asked was "mau tutup suda ka?" hahaha.. when they said no, we straight away went inside and this was what we ordered: Lemon tea for the three of us Ceaser salad Seafood pizza I enjoyed the food there, and i must say the price wasn't as expensive as i thought it would be..Ceaser Salad was RM10.90 and Pizza (regular) was RM19 After having supper, we went up to GSC and watched our movie. After movie, i was suppose to meet some friends at KK but when i texted them, they were already home and said that i was late hahaha. I told them i'll join them next time.. tomorrow never dies right? :) ♥ P.

BACKPOST : This happened 2 weeks ago (7th March - 8th March 2009) Since it was a public holiday on monday me and a few friends (me, iuq, jeba, itah & harriet - itah's bf) decided to go to The Tip of Borneo at Kudat. They picked me up at my house around 5pm and had to go slow because it was raining cats and dogs. Since it was already night time when we passed Kota Belud, we decided to spend the night at Kota Marudu and make Tip of Borneo oour priority the next day. We arrived at Kota Marudu at around 8pm and had our dinner at Warung Kak Siti .. I had rojak ayam , since i never tasted Kota Marudu's rojak ayam . Not too bad i must say. Us at Warung Kak Siti. After dinner, we went to iuq's house and spent the night there. We had to wake up early the next morning as we plan to watch the sunrise at Simpang Mengayau.. KONON! hahaha. At church, playing with my baby niece Clarissa Angel Kimberly and me.. It was her debut as a flower girl that day for a cousin's cousin's wedding. My niece Kimberly took this while i was waiting for mansau time. She was begging me to let her take my picture, being a good aunt that i am *wink* i let her handle my camera. She's 4 years old, and im always scared if i let her play with the camera, she'll drop it or whatever...
